About Us
Lynwood School of Veterinary Nursing (LSVN) was formed in 1996 and has been awarded a Good grading from OFSTED (2022).
LSVN is accredited by the RCVS, City and Guilds, Central Qualifications, Skills and Education Group and Lantra. LSVN is recognised as both a Primary Centre involved in approval and monitoring of training practices and as a centre in the delivery of theoretical and practical aspects of the City and Guilds, Central Qualifications and Lantra Level 3 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing.
The school is also actively involved in the support and mentoring of the clinical coaches in veterinary training practices and in addition, runs a distance learning programme for the Animal Care and Welfare certificate.
More recently the school has also developed a much-needed local CPD provision in support of the mandatory CPD requirements of both veterinary nurses and veterinary surgeons.
